The City of Portland, Maine, is investing in a customized wellness program for its entire workforce. The local government authority-which employs more than 1,400 people-has appointed corporate health specialist Wellness Workdays to create the program. It's the latest contract for the company, which is also working with Harvard School of Public Health on a large-scale study into the effectiveness of worksite wellness programs.
