We can design a comprehensive wellness program for you, based on your company’s budget, size and organizational goals. Choosing a model can help to provide structure and focus for an organization, help you to better define your goals, determine effective program interventions and have a better appreciation of the expected return on investment. Choose from any of the following wellness models…
Quality of Work Life Model
This model is the simplest to administer and involves fun activities with minimal evaluation. Activities in this model include lunch and learn sessions, health fairs, seminars and other wellness events. This is ideal for a company testing the waters for wellness acceptance or for a company with a limited budget to spend on wellness. The typical return on investment is usually not a factor but is usually <1:1.
Sample Programming includes: A Dining Out… Without Disaster nutrition seminar, walking groups, Intro to Pilates onsite program and Blood Pressure screening.
This model is ideal for a company testing the waters for wellness acceptance or for a company with a limited budget to spend on wellness.
Traditional Model
This model is slightly more involved than the QOWL and includes health risk assessments (HRA), weight management and smoking cessation programs, healthy cafeteria options and web based information. The goal is for risk reduction and typically results in an ROI of 1:1.5.
Sample Programming includes: Seminars, walking groups, onsite fitness classes as well as behavioral change programs (i.e. Wellness Team Challenge) (link this back to our program), monthly newsletters, EAP programs, Health Risk Assessments, quarterly screenings and yearly biometrics.
This model is ideal for a company interested in implementing a more targeted population management approach and focus on risk reduction.
Health Management Model
This model is the most comprehensive model and involves a focus on population management — keeping healthy people healthy and managing disease risk. Components of this model include onsite and virtual components, incented HRA’s and rigorous evaluation. The typical ROI is 1:2.5 to 1:6.5.
